"Why oh why do I return to this place, hoping for a better experience??? Glutton for punishment. Every time I've been here, I've had issues. You will not be allowed to substitute for anything on the menu. (The breakfast sausage is terrible! I dont care what anyone else says. To me, they're gross.) So you have to deal with what you get. I like the big breakfast, but I don't want the sausage. I'd like to add more ham or bacon instead. Nope. The place wasn't very busy when we arrived, so I don't see why there would be an issue with a substitution. Zero customer relations. I ordered bacon and scrambled eggs, no sides. My date got eggs Benedict. At least the food was OK, but how can a cook screw up bacon and eggs?

I've seen the owner's snide remarks to anyone who posts a negative review instead of being kind... They lash out or insult the reviewer instead of taking any responsibility or trying to fix the issue. Very poor business practice.

The place is so outdated and old looking. The staff seemed tired and subpar (though one younger girl was superb), and there's one lady walking around trying to look important (I assume the owner) but not really contributing to anything other than chatting up the old folks who were obviously regulars.

I waited the entire meal to get a refill of water for my tea and gave up.

Just don't. Go to Smitty's in Osoyoos. At least there, you can get what you want."

"This is a great place to eat breakfast. Very traditional diner style experience and the selection is really great. Not sure what the folks who complain are complaining about. They have decent coffee (check), they came by and refilled all the time, toast was toast, eggs were eggs and the pancakes were huge! It is the best home cooked breakfast in town."
