What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kobo Ramen garners praise for its flavorful ramen, particularly the Tonkotsu and Miso varieties, and attentive service. However, some diners note that the flavors may not always be authentically Japanese, and the broth can be quite thick or salty for some palates. Despite these minor critiques, it remains a highly recommended spot for a comforting and delicious meal.
"Fantastic. I had the Chicken Karaage, which was good but the tonkotsu ramen was outstanding. The homemade noodles and grilled pork were exceptional. I also thought that the sake tasting menu was really good: interesting and delicious. Highly recommended!!"
The Masked Turnip
"The drinks are very good. Takoyakis were good.
Tonkotsu is too salty and doesn’t taste authentic. The ramen with truffle oil in it is good and an innovative idea, but again, it’s not authentic flavors.
Cheesecake was dry but had a blueberry drizzle on top. If you expect something like Uncle Tetsu you might be disappointed.
This restaurant feels like cosplay.
It’s very good, but it loses points on authenticity.
If I was to go back I might only take entrees and drinks."
Mike So
"Very friendly and polite staff, delicious ramen, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place worth coming back to and trying more options from the menu"
