"Hands down the very best fish and chips in the Cowichan Valley. The only reason I haven’t put up a review here before because I typically have eaten half before I remember to take a picture. Food is always hot, always fresh and the fries are to die for. As for the fish…..fantastic, generous portions you won’t leave hungry. I only wish I could give this place 6 stars."

"Dropped in for halibut and chips. Was greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. She brought us menus but I noticed the special on the blackboard and ordered right away. We ordered drinks at the same time. We got our happy but still no drinks, We got our fish n chips but still no drinks. Sp when the server asked us if there was anything else they could get us. I reminded her of the drinks. Thus the 4/5 stars. The fries were crispy and the right potato to give the right flavor. The fish Halibut was tender and moist the batter just the right crunch cooked to perfection. All in all the food was great and the missed drinks not the end of the world. Would I go back again definitely."
