"Being in St John’s, I looked up the best sushi places and unfortunately I was really disappointed by my recent experience at Sushi Island. I ordered a takeout order for pick up- which may have been part of it. But the sushi itself was not nearly as tender or tasty as I was expecting, the edamame were almost brown in colour and did not taste fresh. The people on site were lovely and clearly it’s a well liked and popular place. Undecided whether I’d try it again."

Very nice robots make this place different from others, modernized menu on tablets makes ordering very comfortable. Special thanks to the cashier girl with a nice smile who kindly answered all our questions and throughout the whole time was interested in whether we were comfortable and maybe we wanted something else? And special respect to a very nice waiter guy from the Philippines who taught my children to eat with chopsticks:)"
