While the wait can sometimes be longer as food is cooked to order, most agree it's well worth it for the generous portions and authentic flavors that evoke a sense of nostalgia and warmth. The friendly owners and family-like atmosphere make it a memorable dining experience.
"This a unique quirky spot. We had fries, amazing, cooked in beef and pork lard. If you like REAL chip truck fries this is the place. Home made cabbage rolls and a burger your mom would make, stop here. They have a homemade pie. My mother would be proud, a real crust, we had strawberry rhubarb, outstanding. The service was so attentive. It’s not for everyone, but, if you want home style food , try this little gem. Great value for your money."

"We choose this restaurant purely based on review and proximity to our accomodations.
To say the food is amazing is an understatement. My daughter had the cheeseburger with only mayo. At her first bite she declared "this is so good".
I went with the special - linguini in a red cream sauce with meatballs. I won't be able to it justice in the description. Meatballs were homemade, the sauce had cream, onions, tomatoes and peppers. The side was a choice of soup. I had the curried chicken. Delicious.
It was like eating at home or grandma's."

"What a great way to spend a Friday evening with friends. The band was amazing. The food tasted great and the serving was more than I could eat."
