Reviews Summary

Caramba Restaurant is a beloved Whistler establishment known for its delicious and diverse menu, featuring everything from wood-fired pizzas to award-winning burgers. Diners frequently praise the friendly service and the excellent value of the three-course meal. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some mention that prices can be on the higher side, which is to be expected in Whistler, and a few have noted an additional health benefit charge on bills.

"Highly recommend Caramba!! The food was delicious! Everything came out hot!! You must get the jumbo Caesar with the beef sliders and deep fried pickles!! We had the burger with tomato soup, truffle mac and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs and the wood fire margherita pizza! The $30 3 course meal is a must!! We were so full we had to take the dessert to go! Our server Melissa was excellent, she was so attentive and so nice!!! Made our dinner so much more enjoyable! Will definitely come back!!"

Liz Co

"Wonderful experience with friends! Great cocktails (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and excellent food. My husband had the Burger that was voted best in Whistler and it didn’t disappoint. Our server, Lara was very warm and attentive. She made our experience even greater. Thanks Lara!"

Renee Scobel

"Overall great experience here. Menu is mostly made up of comfort food, so it's easy for anyone to find something to enjoy. My friend and I ordered ricotta, margherita pizza, caramba burger, and mac and cheese. All dishes were delicious. Staff were friendly, and service was great. The food is a bit on the pricier side, but that's kind of expected in Whistler."

The Best Italian Restaurants In Whistler

Don’t miss ‘Tappy Hour’ at Caramba, when you can choose three tapas plates for just CA$20 (£12). Drawing inspiration from Italy and Spain, they offer classic Spanish small plates such as patatas bravas (potatoes with a spicy sauce) and pan con tomate (toasted bread with tomato, garlic, oil and salt) alongside braised meatballs and Margherita pizzas. A bit random, sure, but pair it with Wine Wednesday, with glasses for CA$7 (£4) and selected half-price bottles, and you won’t be thinking too much about it.

An insider’s guide to Whistler’s favourite secret-menu items

Proving once and for all you can never have too much of a good thing, Caramba!. ’s contribution to this exalted list is a combination of two hearty comfort foods executed with the restaurant’s usual Mediterranean flair: mac-and-cheese pizza. This rib-sticking creation swaps out the usual tomato sauce in favour of a rich cheese sauce base made from a mix of mozzarella, cheddar and Boursin, topped with macaroni noodles and a drizzle of truffle oil, before being fired in a wood oven.
