As the first après-ski bar to open in Whistler in 1965, Dusty’s Bar & BBQ has the experience down to an art form. At the base of Whistler Mountain in Creekside, a neighborhood with restaurants and shops located outside of the main village, Dusty’s boasts the town’s sunniest patio and the world’s best Caesar (a Canadianized version of a bloody mary that uses clamato juice instead of tomato). As for the menu, BBQ reigns supreme, with recipes that were meticulously researched by their chefs on a restaurant tour of the Southern United States.

Famous for its gold-medal location at the base of the 2010 Olympic downhill runs and home to Whistler’s sunniest patio, Dusty’s is nestled into the base of Whistler Creekside – a lively spot to end the ski day. Dusty’s is a barn of a bar with pitchers, partying and live music at après time. The decor is vintage mountain and the huge windows can be opened fully on hot days for a festival feel.

After consuming nine meals a day, they must know a thing or two.

Dubh Linn Gate at the Pan Pacific Mountainside, right by the Whistler base, has a traditional Irish pub feel and excellent food, and Dusty’s at the base of the Creekside Gondola, is full of local Canadian flavour and host to the Canadian National BBQ Championships.
