Reviews Summary

Pasta Lupino is lauded for its fresh, homemade Italian comfort food, particularly its customizable pasta bowls, flavorful lasagna, and standout tiramisu. Diners appreciate the cozy atmosphere and friendly service, noting it as a great value. However, some reviews mention pedestrian pasta sauces and small, anemic salads, and the self-serve nature might not be for everyone.

"Pasta Lupino is a charming local spot in Whistler. The soup was fantastic, and the homemade pasta was flavorful with generous portions. Just keep in mind that it’s entirely self-serve—don’t expect table service, as you’ll need to grab your own utensils and anything else you need. Despite that, it’s definitely worth a visit for the delicious food!"

Farnoosh Oa

"Mmmm, the soups; chicken corn chowder and curry lentil were warming and flavorful and went perfectly with the soft, complementary bread. The pastas satisfied the carb cravings after a day on the slopes. The miracle of the warm flourless brownie sundae was a generous portion, and between three of us, none went to waste. The space is a bit crowded, so taking off your jacket could lead to fist a cuffs with the table behind you, if not careful. No reservations, but we were able to be seated within 5 minutes of arriving on a Saturday evening."

Nicole Harper

"Nut allergy friendly: Everything good, even the dessert we tried.

Time to Bread: 7 Minutes
Time to Salad: 18 Minutes
Time to Entrees: 35 Minutes

We arrived around 8:20PM and waited about 20 minutes to get a table for 6 and a table for 2. The space is small, so they cannot sit larger groups.

Don't be afraid of the high prices! The main dinner entrees come with a soup or salad, so it is very filling. Most of my group took leftovers home (I did not, but I skip lunch when I ski.)

Complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil (4.5/5): Banger. Delicious bread and great dip.
Caesar Salad (3/5): A classic. Nothing crazy, nothing bad.
Chicken Parmesan (4/5): The Chicken Parmesan was not as crispy as I prefer, but it was very flavorful. The pasta was cooked al dente which may feel a bit firm for some people. I really enjoyed the dish overall and the portion was solid.
Tiramisu (4/5): Great coffee flavor notes. I only took one small bite but we shared it six ways.

Overall, stellar option for food in Whistler Village and I'd definitely recommend it for something away from bar food at an affordable price."

4. Pasta Lupino is a solid pick if you’re not quite ambitious enough to make a full-blown dinner in room, but you don’t want to sit through yet another restaurant meal. Here, mix-and-match a pasta shape (like short radiatore, short spinach cesare, linguini, spaghettini) and a pasta sauce (like alfredo, bolognese, tomato and basil, the spicy sausage arrabiata), for fun, let the kids pick one combo, and then choose another for grown-ups.
