Reviews Summary

Peaked Pies is praised for its delicious and hearty Australian-inspired pies, especially the unique kangaroo meat options and the popular 'peaked' topping combination. While many enjoy the authentic flavors and quick service, some found breakfast pies bland and noted limited indoor seating and the coffee not being exceptional. Overall, it's a must-try for a unique and comforting meal in Whistler.

"A different and unique food experience in Whistler. The pies are very hearty and there is usually a good selection. Add on the peaked option (mash potatoes, mushy peas, gravy) for more delicious bites. Pies have good flavour and not too salty. The inside is very small and tight so grab your order to go and eat at a bench, table wherever when the weather is nice ( the takeout boxes are very sturdy so will travel well)."

"Not sure breakfast was a good choice for trying out this spot. It wasn’t busy at all — nobody else there on a Saturday, which I gather is rare. Coffee was good and service was fine. But the Rise & Shine pie was disappointing: lovely appearance but bland taste. I will have to return sometime to try a lunch/dinner option."

Steve Morgan

"Well, I can say I have never had a kangaroo meat pie, but you can get one of those here. It reminds me of pot pies and you can get it "mountain style" with mashed potatoes, mush peas, and gravy on top. Very tasty! Quite original! Staff was really into it, knew everything you needed to know about Australian meat pies."

The Ultimate Vegan Guide to WHISTLER, BC (Canada)

If you have never been introduced to t he wonder of an Australian pie then you're in for a treat!. You can expect a delicious crispy pie with a sauce filling with mushy peas (which is confirmed as vegan, sadly their mash and potatoes are not). They have a vegetable medley which includes corn, carrots, leeks, celery, cauliflower and yams in a coconut milk-based sauce, which can be served with the mushy peas that are confirmed vegan, and then add more pastry (yay!!) to your meal by having a mixed-berry vegan pie for dessert.
