Kulture Café

The café in the beautifully restored historic Nicolaas Store in the heart of downtown San Nicolas serves up great barista-style hot and iced coffees and snacks. With seating indoors or out, this is an ideal pit stop before or after exploring the outdoor art. The big communal courtyard out front is often the site of special events with music as well.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Nick and Kedesha Gordon, Kulture Cafe sits inside the Nicolaas Store and just below the Community Museum. Everything feels healthy and fresh here, from the signature salmon and avocado toast to the sage and lime juice quencher. Aside its from tasty food, the cafe celebrates local culture.

Location: In the San Nicolas Community Museum (Nicolaas Store), located on the bottom floor of a quaint monument, filled with character and history, recently restored for everyone to enjoy. Delectable delights: From sweet pastries to cold refreshing juice, to strong coffee, tasty tacos (psst they have a Taco Tuesday), yummy breakfast dishes, and much, much more… their menu selection is sure to impress you!. Ambiance: Cozy, quaint and full of character.

Pass by Kulture Cafe Aruba which is at the Nicolaas store to get a nice breakfast and coffee to start your day. Charlie’s Bar and Restaurant is an artistic and cultural experience in and of itself, but add in their creole seafood and especially the Hoere Hap, and you might think you’ve died and gone to heaven. For classic Caribbean pub food, head on over to Big Mama Grill for their beach-bar atmosphere and the Seafood Sandwich.

Located at The Nicolaas Store in San Nicolas we had breakfast at this cafe a few times. They also have lunch items such as sandwiches, salads, and wraps but we unfortunately never had lunch at the cafe. In addition to breakfast and lunch they also have ice cream, other desserts, coffee, and milkshakes.
