"We ate both breakfast and lunch here. One of the nicest restaurant settings on Aruba. Food and service was a mixed bag. This was the only restaurant on our week-long vacation where, after sitting and waiting about 20 minutes, we had to find a server and ask them to take our order. Breakfasts are huge: fruit and breads (pictured) are included with all breakfast entrees. But my husband's eggs were seriously overdone and the breakfast potatoes pretty flavorless. But lunch was fine, and it's worth taking the boat here just for a meal, even if you don't plan to spend time on the beach."

"The restaurant bar located at Flamingo Beach offered a rushed service; the server mistakenly thought it was close to closing time. After we informed him it wasn’t, he apologized but still hurried us to order. The service was disorganized and below average. The shrimp tacos arrived cold and had to be remade, and the alcoholic drinks were just average. We sampled the shrimp tempura, which were okay, and the ribs and fries, which were good but nothing special not worth the price. Surprisingly, the water was probably the best item we had and the great view of the flamingos."

This overlooked the family beach on Renaissance Island, and the views are so pretty!. After our lunch, Dan was wanting to watch the Manchester United soccer match, and since we knew they wouldn’t be showing the match on the ship, we went back to our hotel room and got to actually enjoy the room and air conditioning while he watched the match. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and nice and old thanks to working AC.
