What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

Siji Minfu is widely acclaimed for its exceptional Peking duck, praised for its crispy skin and tender meat. While many diners rave about the delicious food and efficient service, be prepared for potentially long waits during peak hours. Some reviewers have noted occasional issues with service friendliness and unique dining etiquette.

"Excellent food and quick service. We tried the Braised mushroom and mashed shrimp soup, the Peking duck and the fried eggplant with sauce and they were all exceptional. Just be mindful of the waiting time, as the queue during peak hours can be long, so make sure to take a seat and relax while waiting for your turn."

Konstantina Mouliou

"Duck was great. Definitely one of the best I've had. Moist, skin a bit fatty, good ratio of meat to skin. 3 star comes from the remainder of dishes. Deep fried lamb was tasteless fat, corn patty was the worst, beansprouts was very good. 3 hour wait is definitely not worth it. Perhaps 30 min wait max."

G Lem

"This restaurant lived up to the hype about having the best Peking duck in Beijing. The duck was so crispy and delicious that it literally melts in your mouth. We had half a duck and it was enough for 2 people. We also tried their crispy shrimp with honey sauce and sweet and sour chicken. Both were amazing as well. Prepare to wait an hour or more if you come during their peak time. If you end up waiting, they provide free tea and snacks. This place is highly recommended if you’re in Beijing. It’s located near the forbidden city area."
