Reviews Summary

One Harbour Road is celebrated for its high-end Chinese and Cantonese cuisine, exceptional dim sum, and stunning Victoria Harbour views. Diners consistently praise the sophisticated ambiance, professional service, and the quality of dishes like fried crab meat and mango pudding. However, some find the food occasionally overly fancy or note that certain seasonal items may not be at their peak.

"We dined several times at this restaurant which maintained it's high level of food and service quality.

We ordered our favorite aged "Fa Du" rice wine chicken which was tender and fragrant. I think the juicy barbecue pork is the best in town! The steamed fish and even the bean curd roll, XO sauce choices and desserts were delicious.

Staff were attentive and caring. Seating was comfortable with great view from our window seat. It's surely the best Chinese restaurant in town for me!"

"Incredible, grand hotel with an amazing view. We went as on the Michelin guide and it was recommended for dim sum, however we tried the tasting menu for our first time there. The tasting menu was good, definitely very filling and it comes with two glass of champagne. Our favorite dishes were the shrimp dumpling in the lobster broth and the pudding. Would probably go back only for dim sum. Atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed and service was nice and attentive."

Andrea Mosca

"A delayed but worthwhile share. We enjoyed a delightful dinner set around Chinese New Year period. While not a steal, the pricing was fair considering the prime location, quality of food, and service.

The roasted pork with its semi-fatty texture was delicious and the soup arrived steaming hot. The chicken was juicy and tender, although the firmer variety of fish would have been more preferable as the current option was slightly underwhelming. Nevertheless, the experience was satisfactory overall, with attentive service even though we were seated at the far end of the restaurant."

The Best Dim Sum in Hong Kong: 2022 Edition

Despite its slightly dated decor, One Harbour Road is one of the most visited Chinese restaurants in town, boasting Victoria Harbour views matched with refined Cantonese cuisine. This split-level restaurant of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is where dim sum aficionados enjoy classic dishes and contemporary options. The execution of traditional dim sum is faultless, while some dishes on the menu are given a modern interpretation, such as the steamed beetroot and preserved meat dumplings, which have a lovely puce hue and a slight sweetness that comes from the preserved meat.
