While the food receives mixed reviews, with some dishes praised and others found average or dry, many highlight the exceptional breads and the overall good value. Service can be slow, but improvements are expected under new management. It's a lovely place for a weekend meal, though its daytime-only operation is a drawback for some.
"When we lost power and internet in our AirBNB we went to the clubhouse only to learn that the permanent residents and owners actually do use this facility as a real club! They had a backup generator, internet, food service (which they offer daily anyway), and an all around lovely facility.
If you walk around the building you'll find a set of stairs that lead up to a small patio with a lovely view of the property and hills. It would be a great spot for viewing the sunset.
Also there is recycling for plastics, metals and glass in the parking lot area, which was also good to find out about.
As to the owners/residents, they use the connections and resources of the clubhouse to acquire hard to source ingredients and such for special events and holidays. Apparently there is also a social space for La Estancia owners in town as well, but we did not seek it out."

"Beautiful outdoor terrace to have lunch over looking the golf course. The food was only average - caesar salad was good, the calamari was bad (not fresh) and ossobuco rice dry and flavourless. There were however lots of flies outside when the food came. The restaurant was filled with well to do locals and tourists."
