Azahar Coffee Parque 93

Cafe, Coffee Shop, Coffee, Tea , Vegan, Vegetarian, South American. Azahar is a unique cafe located in Bogotá’s lively Park 93. This cafe has a choice of coffee from the Nariño, Antioquia, Huila and Quindío departments of Colombia.

You didn’t experience Bogotá cafe culture if you didn’t hit up Azahar!. The original Azahar is located near parque de la 93 where you’ll see a lot of digital nomads typing away while sipping on an Americano, as well as local business(wo)men having a meeting with a client. There’s also a new location on Carerra 9 called Azahar Café Nogal which is way less crowded and has more of an outdoor feel (there is literally outdoor seating where there isn’t at the 93 location.) I tend to prefer Nogal over 93 because it’s less crowded and has better airflow.

The Azahar Coffee container is a renovated, modest-looking repurposed shipping container, with a marvelous coffee selection and choice of brew methods inside. The container choice was a practical one: rents in Chico are sky-high, and so containers allow retailers to take advantage of the neighborhood without paying a fortune for location. There’s also some symbolism here: containers are how Colombian coffee is shipped to the rest of the world.

This is certainly one of the most popular cafe for remote workers in Bogota and, on any given day, you are bound to find other visitors and locals here with their laptops. Located in the bustling, affluent Zona Norte around the city’s main entertainment district, Azahar Cafe 93 offers its own blends of coffee served through a variety of methods. Seating is plentiful and varied, with individual and group spaces available.

One of our favorite cafés was Azahar Coffee Company, a chic café located in the Parque 93 area. Their menu offers an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, served alongside coffee sourced directly from local farmers. They pride themselves on paying fair and stable prices to the local Colombian farmers, while ensuring the Colombians can enjoy the products of their own country’s labor.

Azahar is a must if you are looking for the best of Colombian Coffees. They are extremely meticulous about the quality of their coffee and are known to export some of their hand selected beans around the world. It has won a series of 1st place awards at the harvest fair in Colombia.

One of my favorites is Azahar, located at Carrera 3 #12B-60. The price for coffee is around 6,000 COP (~2 dollars) and there are also pastries for the same price. The place is calm and its location is in an old beautiful house, so it has a mix between antique and modern decoration.

This hip cafe is an Instagrammer’s dream and a neighborhood favorite. Gorgeous plants all over the space, huge windows filling the dining space with light, and a menu full of yummy food. It was down the street from our hostel, so we stopped by multiple times.

Azahar Coffee is located in the hip Park 93 area of Bogotá, surrounded by trees and plants, giving off a very tropical vibe. The coffee beans they serve are exceptional. They also offer creative coffee drinks that you can’t find anywhere else.

Azahar is yet another great cafe you can visit in the Chapinero area of Bogota. It’s very similar in feel and menu offerings as Masa, with a good mix of brunch dishes, sandwiches, pastries, and cakes. And of course, excellent Colombian coffee.

Located in Park 93, Azahar is all about single origin coffeesfrom different regions of Colombia. And the baristas are just as good as the coffee. In fact, you’ll find Mauricio Romero, our current national barista champion, pulling shots here.

This coffee company is located in the heart of Colombia’s coffee-producing region in Quindio. Luckily though, they have two great locations to sample their coffee in Bogotá. One is located by Parque 93, while the other is located in Nogal.

Azahar: If you're looking for a gluten-free bakery, Azahar is the place to go. They specialize in gluten-free bread, cakes, and pastries, all made from high-quality ingredients.

They have a great space with enough plugins and they also have great gastronomic options for breakfast and lunch, and of course, good coffee all day.

These guys are professional coffee exporters, supplying many of your local roasters and specialty green coffee importers with their raw materials.

Places like Azahar and Cafe Cultor will even tell you the name of the farmer. People come away with an admiration for everyone involved.
