"We had been eating traditional Ecuadorean food for two weeks, so we were ready for a change. We found Noe to be a very good and interesting restaurant. The décor is very nice and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Although he spoke no English, we were able to order what we wanted without any problems. The service was good, but a bit slow.
The food is worth explaining. This is not your traditional Japanese sushi. There are unusual combinations and presentations, including a flambe (see photo). The menu (English) explains that the Ecuadorian chef wanted to create a fusion and he did. You can get Tekka Maki and other traditional rolls, but we chose to experiment. We found some choices better than others, but overall enjoyed the meal very much."
