"This was my second trip to C.R. Stayed 11 days a few years ago and 5 days this go around. This was easily the best dinner I have had across La Fortuna, Tamarindo, & San Jose. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and Emanuel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. "Definitely a cute, trendy spot, but sadly the food didn’t match the vibe. Everything we ordered looked super photogenic, but both dishes were bland and seriously lacking in flavor. We each spent around $45 on just a plate and a drink, and for that kind of price, you'd expect something way more memorable. Instead, it was all style, no substance.
To be fair, we only tried two dishes and a drink, so maybe we missed the standouts. That said, the plantains and cocktails were solid, and our waiter was super attentive, which we appreciated. Still, for both me and my friend, the food just didn’t deliver. Cute spot, but I wouldn’t go back to eat."
