What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about Restaurant Kopun's dedication to authentic Croatian cuisine, particularly the signature capon and traditional dishes like black risotto. The charming patio and attentive service contribute to a memorable dining experience, though some reviews note inconsistencies in specific dishes and occasional service issues.
"We were looking for a dinner spot for our first night in the Old Town, and chanced upon this restaurant right up a tall flight of stairs. The server was very hospitable and introduced us the 3 course set meal (1 soup, 1 main and 1 dessert) for €38. We got a meat set meal and a fish set meal, and it was the best decision! The soup dishes warmed us up very quickly in the cold, and the beef + octopus was very soft and delicious. Highly recommend!"
Jermaine Lim
"We had a lovely dinner at Restaurant Kopun in Dubrovnik. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
We ordered these two delicious dishes:
Capon - pasticada
Both plates were generous, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The food arrived quickly, and the prices were very affordable considering the quality and quantity.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Croatian cuisine in a charming setting. We’ll definitely be back!"
Joelle Jbeily
"We ordered capon, black squid risotto, pasticada. All were served and plated very nicely and it was such an enjoyable dining experience. After having experienced poor customer service at another restaurant, I was worried I would anticipate something similar here but that was not the case at all! Waiting staff here were friendly and made us feel very comfortable and provided a very enjoyable dinner for us. The surroundings of this restaurant are very serene as well. Would recommend to visit here !"
