BOKAMORRA HAUTE COUTURE PIZZA & COCKTAILS

The generous glass frontage of Bokamorra allows diners to make the most of the views but, in truth, the lovely interior of the restaurant and the wonderful presentation of their pizzas and cocktails are more than enough to keep your attention inside. Pizzas are all they do, including a dessert option but, luckily, theirs are the best in town. Delicious pizza base is made freshly from dough aged for 48 hours, topped with high-quality ingredients such as cheeses, truffles, salad leaves and air-dried meats.

Bokamorra’s funky Art Deco interior, backed with a towering stained-glass bar serving over 150 spirits, is superseded only by the epic views over the Adriatic Sea through its floor-to-ceiling glass frontage. Pizza is the only thing on the menu here, but with premium ingredients, top-end cocktails and a dough that’s been aged for over 48 hours, at Bokamorra, no other cuisine will compare.

For a fun atmosphere where you can let loose (often to a live DJ's tunes) as you watch your pizza being made in the open kitchen, head here. This pizzeria offers a menu covering the classics as well as unique options, and staff can recommend one (or a few) of the restaurant's signature cocktails to accompany your pizza of choice.

Last but not the least is Bokamorra, self-stylized as Pizzaurant, a sumptuous hybrid of a pure Neapolitan-style pizzeria set in the upscale fine dining setting. With the Capricciosa Index of 1.55, Bokamorra is the highest priced of the six, though still very reasonably priced in relation to the other restaurants in town. At offer are a variety of pizza standards like the Margherita and the new Dalmatian-favorite Shrimp pizza, though menu is carried by pizzas built of the otherwise exotic topping choices like black truffles or mortadella with the arugula, pistachio and basil pesto.

I have already written about Bokamorra Restaurant and its great pizza, but now they have great competition. Reading reviews on Google and Tripadvisor I came across a lot of enthusiastic reviews, such as “By far the best pizza I’ve ever eaten with my wife.” Certainly, Basta Split can be compared to the best pizzerias in Italy. They have an original Neapolitan oven, and any true fan of the Italian cult specialty will be able to enjoy the real flavors of pizza Napolitano.

This has all but changed in the last few years with restaurants like Zinfandel, Corto Maltese, Articok, O’Zlata, Mazzgoon and Bokeria (just to name a few); then, even more recently we have had some true concept restaurants open with likes of Terminal F, Bokamorra Pizza & Cocktails and To Je Tako. There is now plenty on offer to satisfy most any gastronomer, but there is one aspect which still hasn’t quite caught up – international cuisine.

If you’re craving a slice of Napoli in the heart of Split, look no further than Bokamorra. Trust me, several of my local friends swear by it, and they know their pizza. The pizzas here are out of this world, featuring classic Neapolitan dough that’s both soft and crispy, and quality ingredients that you can taste with each bite.

A younger sister of Bokeria restaurant is this unique pizzeria by the sea on Split’s famous west coast. It is hard to call it a pizzeria although it offers pizzas because Bokamorra is so much more. Its amazing interior, excellent pizza combinations you can’t taste anywhere else make Bokamorra a true gastro experience.

Bokamorra - This is a newly opened pizza place with an interior design like no other pizzeria in Split. It is a bit fancy and expensive but the high quality makes it a good value for money. They are special for their signature cocktails for each pizza on the menu.

Bokamorra is where wood-fired Neapolitan classics meet elevated cocktails and sleek interiors. The truffle pizza was a standout, but honestly, you can’t go wrong. It’s the kind of place where locals and in-the-know travelers linger well past their last slice.

Bokamorra Pizza – Not far from the stairs leading to Majun Hill is one of Split’s best restaurants. A fun and friendly staff, unique cocktails, and out-of-this-world pizza make this one of our favorite places to eat in Split. We would go time and time again.

Opened in 2019, this place already offers one of the best pizza in Split. You can reach this place within a few minutes of walking from Old Town. When you come to this restaurant, you know you will get amazing food.
