Reviews Summary
Konoba Skoblar is lauded as an authentic gem offering exceptional seafood and a genuine taste of Dalmatian cuisine. Diners rave about the freshness of the ingredients, particularly the grilled fish, and the welcoming, family-run atmosphere. While the service is generally praised for its friendliness and attentiveness, some note that it can be slow during peak hours. A few reviewers found certain dishes, like the mussels, to be overly salty.
"It was raining heavily when we reached Zadar that we took shelter from the rain and ate lunch in the restaurant. Thought it would be expensive and touristy but the food was alright. The fish was fresh and the steak was done well. The service was great and friendly. Saw some neighborhood people having lovely chats while drinking at the restaurant. The cozy ambiance and such a laid back place make people feel welcomed."

"Absolutely amazing. We wiped everything clean from the plates - the fish soup was rich and the fish cooked to the right texture, the sauce from scampi was well balanced and we had perfectly grilled sea bream.
We would return here for sure, for our best seafood meal in Croatia."

"Reasonable price at the city and portion of food is fair enough.
Tuna salad is good, mussels are TOO SALTY and without much taste, kid menu is available.
Environnement is calm & good on general but many wasps around when we ate, at least 3-5 on table which is annoying.
Staff uses some spray (not sure if it's pesticides or air freshener) to repel the wasps, sprayed on ground/ under table but still disturbing during eating."
