Karakter is one of the few truly private beaches in Curacao, as it is owned by the Coral Estate Resort that allows day visitors. Pay to visit for the day and receive ultimate relaxation with comfy deck chairs, free WiFi, a beach bar and equipment hire. The restaurants here are stunning if you plan to stay for the evening, as tables are set up right on the sand surrounded by twinkling fairy lights for that ultimate romantic holiday feel.

Karakter is even een eindje rijden, want zit verstopt in een enorme villawijk bij Rif St. Marie in Willibrordus, maar het is de rit meer dan waard. Wij moesten ook echt even zoeken, want je moet parkeren bij een soort van parkeerplaats dat lijkt op een mall maar daaronder zit Karakter. Ideaal voor met oude kinderen of als je zonder kids bent, stuk minder ideaal met peuters.

Gedurende de dag is Karakter een perfecte plek voor een ontspannen stranddag met lounge stoelen, kussens en veel schaduw. U kunt ervoor kiezen om uw ontbijt en lunch in het comfort van je eigen luie stoel. En 's avonds transformeert Karakter in een gezellig fine dining restaurant waar u culinaire hoogstandjes kunt proeven met de zonsondergang op de achtergrond.

This beach has premium beach chairs with shade, Whatsapp service at the beach, a nice beach bar, and great food. This is not your typical white sand beach because you enter the water via a ladder, but it offers a unique beach day experience.

By day this beachside restaurant has a casual atmosphere and serves fresh smoothies, salads, superfood bowls and the like. In the evenings, when the candles are lit and the waves lap the shore, it becomes one of the island's loveliest dining spots. If you’ve have ever visited Curacao you know this island has a lot of beach clubs from all different kinds, but Karakter is definitely one of my favorite. Not necessarily to swim but I love that it’s located in a quiet bay.

Their lunches and dinners are incredible: cocktails, tapas to share, surf and turf salads or Arabian chicken, just to name some of the options. Karakter Beach was our home base during our stay in Curacao and it is absolutely stunning!. The villa we rented is a part of Coral Estate Luxury Resort allowing us access to all of the properties amenities. Karakter Beach has lovely lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas to relax and soak up the sun.

Hier kun je perfect de hele dag ontspannen, tijdens een lekker dagje strand, kun je hier heerlijk vertoeven in een loungestoel. Zo kun je overdag lekker relaxt genieten van je ontbijt of lunch. ‘s Avonds verandert Karakter in een gezellig, chique restaurant, voor een lekker diner.

Een andere beachclub waar je zeker een dag wilt vertoeven is Karakter. Het eten hier is zó goed, dat je eigenlijk sowieso wel even langs moet gaan voor een dinertje, al kun je hier niet een dag liggen. Of voor een lunch, al vind ik dat het hier vooral ‘s avonds zijn charme heeft.

Breng dan een bezoekje aan het zusje van Karakter, Beachclub Koraal. Gelegen op een rooftop terrace kijk je uit over de oceaan terwijl je nipt aan je cocktail. Overdag biedt Koraal een luxe ervaring bij het zwembad met heerlijke cocktails, smoothies en een uitgebreid lunch menu.

Not low priced but definitely worthwhile to go to is Restaurant Karakter, located at Coral Estate. Karakter is not only known for its excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, but also for the viewing the best sunsets on the island. Make sure you make a reservation before hand!.

Voor een romantische avond uit ben je hier aan het juiste adres!. Fakkels, zonsondergang, goddelijke keuken en een hele fijne sfeer. Dit is een adresje waar je letterlijk met je voeten in het zand zit en waar je op de achtergrond de zee hoort ruisen.

My favorite restaurants are Fort Nassau (amazing view) and Karakter (fine dining on the beach). There are great sushi restaurants but also sweet beach bars serving comfort food with a view – like Bahia Lagun. The fresh seafood is so good here!

On many blogs about Curaçao, I read about Karakter’s carpaccio. It’s supposed to be legendary, and the location of Karakter is beautiful: right on the beach. Karakter is a beach lounge and restaurant, so you can go there all day long.

Deze beach club, lounge en restaurant zit op een half uurtje rijden vanaf Punda. Een heerlijk restaurant aan het strand waar je kunt genieten van de zonsondergang. Ze noemen dit ook wel een klein paradijsje en wij snappen wel waarom.
