Saint Tropez Ocean Club

Located in the heart of Pietermaai—a formerly run-down neighborhood now home to illuminated cobblestone alleyways, eclectic bars and restaurants, and modern apartments—the Saint Tropez Ocean Club offers a touch of Mediterranean art deco luxury with a tropical twist. Designed by owner Michel Oliemuller to highlight the space where surf and sand meet, the main dining and drink areas offer unspoiled views of sunsets over the turquoise waters facing Venezuela. The hotel’s secluded cabanas are a particular happy hour favorite, providing an ideal location for kicking back with a cocktail after a long day exploring the city.

Part of the Saint Tropez Suites resort in Pietermaai, this unique day club is where French Riviera–style meets Dutch Caribbean cool. A gorgeous infinity pool crests a rocky coast with crashing waves and is surrounded by plush daybeds, private cabanas, and loungers. A trendy bar and open-air dining spot serves small bites and full lunch, and there’s also surf-side bottle service and tapas by the pool.

Kura Hulanda Lodge & Beach Club is located on the west side of the island and overlooks a secluded beach from a cliff-side position. The property is littered with caves and is incredibly relaxing, not to mention romantic, especially for an evening meal outside. You can dine under an expansive, open-aired, thatched roof hut while enjoying tropical cross breezes and sweeping views of the sea.

Okay, so admittedly not a beach, this is still one beautiful pool to spend the day!. It’s along the ocean with big waves lapping up against one side of the compound- meanwhile you’ll be enjoying a fantastic cocktail while lounging beside their incredible pool. This is such a great place to spend the day, especially if you’re a pool person!

St. Tropez Ocean Club is a super sexy, sleek little ocean club that boasts stellar views, great music and good food and cocktails. Though the name suggests a french beach club, the style is more like Greece, which I am not upset about. Beautiful infinity edge pools are framed by modern white structures.

We made our base the Saint Tropez Hotel and Ocean Club and selected an oceanside room and terrace, so we had the perfect view to wake up to each morning. We spent the mornings diving, the afternoons relaxing and swimming at the beach, and the evenings indulging in amazing Caribbean food and drinks.
