"Celebrated my wife birthday and it was absolutely perfect.
Upon arrival the owner shook my wife hands and congratulated her. When we sat down we were instantly given two glasses of prosecco. And the night ended with the whole restaurant singing her happy birthday. Was an occasion we won’t soon forget.
Also this restaurant would give any other fine dining establishment a run for its money.
The wine list is also second to none on the island.
We will definitely make a point to come back the next time we find ourselves in Curacao"

"The Wine Cellar is a true culinary gem in Curaçao. The atmosphere is welcoming yet refined, and the service is flawless from start to finish. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Argentine filet which were executed to perfection, bursting with flavor and cooked just right. The attention to detail didn’t stop at the food; our table was elegantly decorated for our anniversary, and we were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Every element of the evening was exceptional. A must visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining on the island."

"Simply incredible! Might be THE best food on the island! We had the lobster bisque soup, the filet, and chicken parmesan (best chx parmesan we've had in our lives!).. All were A++. Owner Daniel took time to talk with us often--such a kind, genuine man. And then he walks us to our car afterwards---who does that?! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
One year later--Feb '25, we return, and enjoy the Chx Parm again, as well as the Red Snapper w incredible spicy chili sauce on the side. And a bottle of French Pinot Noir. Great meal, great service, super owner Daniel. A++"

We were not that impressed with the Wine Cellar or Bistro Le Clochard. The two places we enjoyed the most were in the Kura Hulanda Complex -- Astrolab Observatory and Jaipur. Dine on the patio at Astrolab rather than indoors -- it's a beautiful setting, lots of plants, fountains, very romantic.
