Also tasted good. Their cocktails menu is very poor unfortunately only a few classics. No in house specials. Staff was very friendly especially the lady. Didn't catch her name but she was very pleasant."

"Lovely environment with a nicely done interior and an excellent view. The staff were friendly, though service felt just okay.
We started with homemade bread and butter. The bread was unfortunately a little stale, but still acceptable. The fried calamari starter was excellent – crispy, fresh, and easily the highlight of the meal. The prawn cocktail, on the other hand, was very disappointing, with only three prawns in the entire dish.
For mains, I had the Argentinian rump steak, which was cooked well and very enjoyable. My husband also had the rump steak, medium rare, and was happy with it. My son ordered the T-bone steak and was pleased. However, the sides let the meal down – the mashed potatoes were watered down and lacked flavour, the fries were okay but nothing special, and my husband’s jacket potato was fine but unremarkable.
A few small let-downs for a steakhouse: they didn’t have proper hot English mustard (like Colman’s), and the mild version provided didn’t have the expected kick.
On the positive side, the local white wine we ordered was delicious. Overall, while the view and calamari stood out, the rest of the meal was average. It’s fine to try once, but we’re unlikely to return."
