St. Pauls Apothek

The bar and restaurant of St. Pauls Apothek is located in a structure which was first used in 1899 as a pharmacy. The staff at St Pauls Apothek have continued with this medical theme and regard themselves as the latest generation of help-givers to occupy the building. They believe that their delicious food and top-quality beverages are medicine for the soul.

St. Pauls Apothek brygger i dag ikke eliksirer, der kan kurere diverse sygdomme, men derimod lækre cocktails, som i den grad kan lindre din tørst. Her arbejder nogle af landets bedste bartendere og kokke på at sammensætte unikke drinks, som matches med lækre retter.

Restauranten har sit navn fra bygningen, der tidligere var apotek, og det holder indehaverne fast i med god mad og drikke, der efter sigende skulle lindre selv de mest sejlivede sygdomme.

Originally a chemist, St. Pauls Apothek is for the traveller with a refined palate as the award-winning bartenders serve up innovative cocktails. Finding inspiration from international cities like New York, London and more, St. Pauls Apothek offer up to 30 varieties of cocktails which can be coupled with a scrumptious meal from the cocktail menu or on its own.

Isoleret set er det en dejlig placering, men har du i sinde at skulle i byen, ligger det lidt langt væk fra åen og det øvrige byliv. Jægergårdsgade er dog fyldt med hyggelige caféer og ølbarer, så du kan sagtens tage videre og få andet at drikke. Stemningen er rimelig ’laid back’ med stearinlys og jazzmusik, og det er et meget behageligt sted at være.

På Jægergårdsgade finder du én af de bedste restauranter i Aarhus. Og hvis du er til en våd aften, anbefaler vi helt klart, at du bestiller enten menuen ”Apothekeren”, hvor du får velkomstdrink, tre serveringer og tilhørende tre cocktails eller ”St. Pauls”, hvor du får champagnecocktail, fem smagfulde serveringer og dertilhørende fem(!) cocktails.
