"Ordered delivery to our villa in Casa Linda. Food was 8/10. We asked for a rush on the food and got it in 15 minutes and it was still hot. Super easy and we will definitely order from here again. I would reccomend the Calamari for a light lunch or appy. FYI - They do pizza too - maybe we’ll try that next time. :-) (the pizzas are listed on their FB page)"

"Food is mediocre at best but the service is absolutely atrocious. You’ll go 20-30 minutes before the servers realize you’re still there. Their special events on weekends are notoriously understaffed.
Happy hour is 3-9 where you will have your choice of a select few drinks. You’ll need the time with how infrequent the service is.
They are also constantly out of menu items. They’ll only have 1 of the 4 dessert options or be out of Coke, Sprite etc.
If you’ve got some sort of deal coupon to be here then so be it. Otherwise, find somewhere else to go. There are tons of terrific restaurants in Sosúa that will do a far better job in both service and food quality.

"I ate at castaway for the entire duration of my vacation. The food is very good and clean. Only open kitchen I’ve seen here in Sosua. Food selection is good with a wide variety including a vegetarian section. Most of the staff in the morning are bilingual. Why only three stars?
Staff is on their phones all the time. In 2022 it’s completely understandable to see this however, when you request something ex. Drinks, menu, napkins and they literally run to their phones it then becomes unacceptable.
Waited 15 minutes to get a single waiter to approach my table. Waited an additional 15 minutes to get the menu. I cannot make this up!
At one point a waiter completely disregarded our request for ice and proceeded to check her phone, back at the bar. This is not the employee’s fault. Poor management is the root of the complacency of the staff. Undoubtedly, the business is struggling to find any staff to work."
