"Petty theft.
I paid market prices for an appetizer, salad, main course (premium steak), a beverage and a "better" bottle of wine served warm. No dessert. But for the wine, Service was excellent. Food was very good. The atmosphere, just acceptable (overly bright leds, overly-small & rocking table).

Then I got the check and they included a chump-change "cubierto "table charge. I recognize these as a bush-league money grab. I've dined in NY, Sydney, Paris, Hong Kong, London, etc... Argentine cities are the only places where they pretend they're providing some extraordinary value - thing all restaurants, good or not, provide. When I pointed it out to the waiter he pretended to vehemently defend the charge with some scripted BS. I laughed, recognizing it as simple Petty Theft, and vowed that I'll never visit again (prob would have as I'm here for a week). They've run the numbers and trained their regulars: Sheeple. PS I had declined the bread and single tab of butter. Cheers to an otherwise good steak house."

"Easily one of the best steaks I've eaten in Argentina. The reviews for this restaurant are insanely positive and I totally understand why. It's one of the few places in Mar del Plata that offers a great dining experience with great food. Upon entry you are warmly greeted by the host and you immediately see the two wizards behind the parrilla working their magic. The place is packed the whole time and that's for a reason too.

The food was incredible! I'm a big fan of chorizo and this version is full of spices and flavour. They offer plenty of dishes ranging from house specials, salads, pastas to the trustworthy parrilla. I ordered the Bife de Costilla (entrecote steak) and it was perfectly cooked. We asked for medium rare and as you can see it was great! The portions of the meat are plentiful and the quality is great. The juice on the bone was perfect as well and all around I really enjoyed my dish. As a dessert I ordered the homemade flan and it was lovely too.

I have seen some reviews say that the service was inattentive and a bit distant. To a certain extent I understand where they come from but I have to say that we had 0 problems with our waiter. He was professional and did what we could expect. It's not always with a smile or a "you're welcome" but he was kind and thoughtful in his actions. I wouldn't let the rating nor your experience be impacted by the way people serve you here in Argentina.

This place deserves their rating through and through and in my personal experience I'd give it a 4.7⭐."
