Peppersack offers a highly immersive medieval experience with its unique atmosphere and costumed staff, often praised for its entertainment like sword fights. Service can be friendly but occasionally slow, and some guests note issues with temperature control in seating areas.
"The ambience and experience was super. The dish was worth the money paid for. The ambience took us to historic times. They have a toilet and in case you are not a customer you can pay 20 cents and use the washroom. They have an amazing bakery which you can try for breakfast too. Reservations are recommended in case of peak season and hours."
Deepsikha Majhi
"They go full immersion for the setup of the restaurant and staff. Very cool medieval outfits.
The food was delicious, although the sauce on my plate was very bland. The duck and lingonberries were delicious. The aperol spritz was delicious.
The waiter and host were both very friendly and knowledgeable of any questions that were asked and making recommendations. Unfortunately, we did wait a long time to pay our bill."
Chad Campbell
"The medieval atmosphere in this place was very cool. I do think the music (at least where we sat) was a bit too loud. The food was nice. I would recommend the duck breast with mango sauce (the picture). Service was fine, but sometimes it took a while for the waiter to notice us."

Peppersack restaurant – recommended on other GF blogs but I wasn’t so sure. We went to dine here and ended up walking out due to the lack of options and uncertainty of the staff. Although, if you’re looking for a unique medieval experience and don’t mind a plain steak and side (no sauce) then it may be suitable for you.
