Other great restaurants in the city, that we unfortunately didn´t try first hand – Talla (we didn´t go as we couldn´t get a table outside on such short notice and we really wanted to enjoy the view), ODA Cuina Creative (I read about this one in Konfekt´s Issue 06 on Cadaqués but it looks closed now) and Can Rafa. This last one, Can Rafa, I also discovered in the Konfekt magazine and really intrigued me as the founding family had also founded Bar Melitón, frequented by Duchamp, Man Ray & co as well as Cadaqués´ first restaurant ever, Casa Anita. A restaurant that I don´t think you´ll find in many guides, nor do I think it stands out much, except it´s simple and strategically located close to Dali´s vacation house is Es Racó d´en Dani.

Con la principal característica de tener en su carta tapas de cocina de mercado, hechas con producto de primera calidad y sabores únicos, el concepto de Talla es la vanguardia sin olvidar la tradición, algo que sin lugar a dudas lo hace un restaurante en Cadaqués único. Si a eso le sumamos las que creemos son una de las mejores vistas de la Bahía de Cadaqués, te aseguramos que este lugar quedará para siempre en tu memoria.

The location of this restaurant, with its open-air terrace right next to the sea and overlooking the boats with the village’s pretty white houses in the background, couldn’t be any better. On the other side of the harbour you will find Talla Restaurant. From there you can enjoy the sunset and savour some delicious Spanish food prepared using ingredients fresh from the local market. A favourite of locals and tourists alike, each dish is simple but exquisitely tasty.

The view is breathtaking, the chairs are comfy, and the olives were so good that our seven-year old started liking them. The combination of the perfect olives, an ice-cold Stella and an ocean view, is a winner every time. Those are the moments worth fighting for!

Its water’s edge terrace on the west side of the harbor has classic views of the white town back across the water. The food hits the spot too. Fresh market fish ispresented in a variety of rice dishes and some unusual…

Our favorite for breakfast or afternoon drinks and tapas is Bar Set. If you’re craving some ice cream, JOIA is a great option featuring vegan options as well as exotic fruit.

In Cadaqués, this restaurant seduces visitors with its modernity and finesse. It is also very well located which allows to enjoy the pleasant surroundings of the place.

On the complete opposite end from S’Olivar del Ros is Talla. You definitely do not want to show up in beach wear. This high-end(ish) restaurant sits right by the sea.
