"A great restaurant! We were planning on visiting the winstub but it was closed. We were travelling with a baby and the staff reassured us it was fine to come with a baby. He behaved very well and the staff was very friendly to him. The food was excellent. Great interpretations of Alsatian cuisine. Dessert was very special too."

But his parents are still very much involved—they’ve devoted their entire lives to the hotel. Marie Kuntz, Marc’s grandmother, opened a modest boarding house-restaurant in 1954; since then it has grown into a luxurious and extremely comfortable hotel.
