Reviews Summary
Monsieur Moutarde is lauded for its unique ambiance within a historic mansion and its exceptionally creative cocktail menu. While the atmosphere and drinks are consistently praised, some guests note that the food menu could offer more variety. The brunch is a popular highlight, offering a generous spread in a pleasant setting.
"I had the loveliest time at Monsieur Moutarde in Dijon! I sat out in their gorgeous garden – such a beautiful and relaxing setting, the perfect spot to unwind. I was so impressed with their creative mocktail menu; it’s fantastic to see such interesting non-alcoholic options. I tried two and both were absolutely delicious and refreshing.
The snacks were equally wonderful – I especially enjoyed the gyoza (Raviolis Japonais aux légumes et au poulet, Duo de sauces Soja, Oignons frits, Coriandre) which were bursting with flavour and perfectly paired with the dipping sauces.
The staff were warm, attentive, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Monsieur Moutarde is truly a gem in Dijon – I can’t wait to return! 🌿🍹🥟"

"A great place to grab a drink in Dijon. If you’re visiting, this should be a definite stop on your list. The atmosphere is really amazing from chic indoor seating areas to the outdoor patio that makes you feel relaxed just sitting there. The cocktails are great too - definitely try one of their signature drinks, it just adds to the experience."

Where to eat out in Dijon Burgundy
If you like your cocktails served with finesse in a memorable location (a 13th century mansion no less), Monsieur Moutarde is THE place to go. Seek out the terrace area (go through the bar), it’s gorgeous and if you go early evening you’ll have it almost to yourself (I went at 17.30). There are little enclaves, a vintage looking interior and a long list of cocktails.

Monsieur Moutarde: I can confirm that all of the mustart in and around Dijon really is that good. What’s remarkable about having mustard in almost every dish is that it’s always a hint—never too much. Apparently that goes for cocktails, too.
