What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Grand Scène is lauded for its incredible variety of food options and vibrant atmosphere, making it a top spot for groups and families. While many praise the diverse stalls like Pizzou and Ataya, some reviews mention that not all vendors are consistently good, and prices can be a bit steep. The lively ambiance and family-friendly setup are major draws, though occasional reports of a drab or empty atmosphere on certain nights exist.
"Brilliant market style bar and eatery in the town centre, family friendly and perfect for a beer and a bite to eat while shopping. Brilliant range of food from Thai to kebabs, pizza and even duck! They show the football too!"

"It is a drab place which is dead on Saturday evening except for some teenagers hanging out with friends. Restaurants are not many, and not all are good, with rather pricy options. The Greek place was very good, but the Indian one was terrible."

"Grand Scène is a fantastic two-story food market where you can explore 10 different food stalls and two bars. We tried the Mexican food at El Camion and were blown away by the kindness of the ladies working there—they even made fresh guac for us without coriander! Talk about amazing service! The bar on the ground floor was equally impressive, with a super kind, helpful, and patient bartender who made the experience even better. This place has such a vibrant and welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in Lille!"

Des équipements sont également disponibles avec des tables à langer, des chaises hautes, des tables basses avec coloriages… Vos enfants vont adorer prendre des photos souvenirs au Photomaton (qui marche avec la CB 😉 ) !

But Grand Scène is the next best thing (in my opinion, it's even better than a food court!). What's great about Grand Scène is that they have 10 small food booths that are actual restaurants instead of fast food. So the quality and selection are amazing!.

We visited this eating hall twice as there was so much variety. It’s like a food court, but it’s more high-quality and fast-casual. They’re open for lunch but don’t arrive before noon no matter what it says online.
