"My wife and I recently stumbled upon a newly opened restaurant in Maison Rouge, near Provins, what a gem !

As soon as you enter the restaurant, a wonderful and warm ambience greets you, it almost feels like you are visiting a friend's house.

For starters, we ordered the foie gras saffron and smoked salmon. Boeuf Bourguignon and sous vide salmon for mains. Then the grand finale was grand marnier soufflé and Crepe Suzette prepared at the table. All were superb !

We could see the chef prepping the food in the clean and well equipped kitchen. The chef is a consummate professional with a passion for food. The meal was excellent and the chef took time to explain how he sourced his ingredients and developed his recipes.

We had a great dining experience. This is definitely worth a visit. Everything is cooked with passion and dedication. Come and enjoy the magic that this chef and owner brings to traditional gastronomy.

We loved it so much we came back again for our last night before leaving town !"
