"Had an absolutely delicious dinner at La Mercerie last night. The secret menu consisted of four exquisite seasonal dishes, of particular note the ricotta filled ravioli with morel mushrooms and green peas - it was springtime with every bite, followed by an excellent cheese plate and a divine dessert. The wine card is substantial and evenly priced. We sat at the bar which allows for unobstructed views of the goings on in the kitchen. The staff is warm and charming. Highly recommend La Mercerie. Thank you for a lovely evening."

"Wow. Such an amazing experience and definitely worth it. Their 5 course menu is perfected, delicious and doesn’t leave you uncomfortably full. The waitstaff were so knowledgeable and helpful, we had some lovely conversations especially during the wine paring for each course.
There was a unique event where local winemakers were dining at the restaurant and we were able to see who made the wines we drank. One even came around pouring his wine and sharing stories with us all. Truly an amazing experience.

Both veterans of Frenchie in Paris, they came to Marseille 7 years ago, fell in love with the city and have not looked back. Our meal started with the “taco” above, went on to the most extraordinary beet preparation, an intense porcini porridge and then rare squab surrounded by a kind of pate of its innards.

The trio all met in Paris and together they founded the award-winning Paris Pop-up restaurant.
