Reviews Summary
Bouche Paris offers a creative culinary journey with its seasonal small plates and unique cocktails, often praised for its cozy ambiance and attentive service. However, some diners find the price-quality ratio inconsistent, with occasional critiques on specific dishes and service attentiveness, though the overall atmosphere is frequently highlighted as a positive.
"Great spot, one of my “go tos” for a nice dinner night out. Food is always excellent and the staff go above and beyond every time. Cocktails are great, also. Bathrooms very nice too, for what it’s worth! When I see Aesop soap and little towelettes for drying hands I know I’m in a classy spot ;-)
Shout out to the staff, again. Always very friendly and welcoming each time I go or call. Hard workers :-)"

"Our lunch at Bouche was an unfortunately disappointing experience. Having read and seen many great reviews, I was super excited to try this place. However, the food, service and prices had me leaving disappointed.
First, the good:
- The aioli was super well presented, the sauce was delicious and most of the seafood was cooked to perfection (prawns were very over and glassworts were under). At 35€, I think it is a fair price for Paris and the quality of the dish and its ingredients.
- One of the two servers who took care of our table was very enthusiastic and kind.
For the not so good/bad:
- The carrot soup with mimolette espuma was good but not extraordinary. I personally think that 17€ is an ungodly price for an ordinary carrot soup with an (even if delicious) espuma and a few brioche croutons.
- The endive was literally raw and tasted exactly like… raw endive. The gorgonzola sauce at the bottom was finger-licking good but it didn’t stay on the endive at all, which made for a dish that was difficult to enjoy in its entirety. It cost 12€.
- The second server we had didn’t say a word to us after we ordered. Dishes were taken and brought to us without question or explanation and we were presented the bill without a word, which was quite awkward and uncomfortable. Mind you, we are native French speakers so it wasn’t a language barrier.
I really wanted to like this place but, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend dining at Bouche Paris because I think the price-quality ratio is off. This is of course my opinion, which you can take as you will with the facts above."

"One of the best culinary experiences I've had, just check our the pictures, food as good as it looks. Location is simple yet elegant and somehow indie, service is great and even plates & bowls are beautiful. Great wine as well. Amazing mood"

The 26 Best Restaurants In Paris - Paris
Small plates and natural wine aren’t exactly an unfamiliar formula for the 11th, but the way they’re done up at this design-y restaurant and wine bar is a refreshing change from the usual setup of tight spaces, tiled floors, and rickety old tables and chairs. For one, the Brutalist space looks like it could have been plucked from the artsy Kreuzkölln district in Berlin, with exposed stone and sparse decor beyond dried flowers and candlelight. There’s also the seasonal menu that rotates every few weeks and pulls inspiration from beyond France.

Best for: Chic small plates in a patinated spaceAddress: 85 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, 75011 ParisPrice: Plates from 11-34 EUR. You’d never know this corner once housed a kebab shop before an ultra chic renovation by Atelier Leymarie Gourdon transformed the spot into a modern natural wine bar. The raw plaster walls and large windows offer a sleek setting in which to enjoy small plates dreamed up by chef Florent Peineau on a monthly changing menu.
A Local Girl's Food Guide to Paris
We love everything about Bouche; the relaxed atmosphere, the simple decorum, the pretty street views if you dine at one of the window tables and, of course, the food and drink!. The menu at Bouche is fairly limited, with a few highlights such as duck tartare, BBQ mackerel and rack of pork taking our fancy, but the insane flavours of the food more than makeup for the lack of choice. Wine Bars | PARIS BY MOUTH
There are so many casual wine bars serving good food in eastern Paris. Bouche stands out from the crowd because they’re a little more spacious, their staff is a smidge more friendly, and the dishes are a lot more interesting. It’s a wine bar in the 11th for people who are no longer in their twenties (like me).
The 12 Best Cozy Bars in Paris
Bouche is a neighborhood bar à vin specializing in seasonal produce. It’s chic and understated, with stone walls, a concrete bar, and low-level lighting – but with plenty of communal seating. Bouche remains inviting.
