What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
La Fignette is praised for its delicious and generously portioned Alsatian specialties, particularly the Flammekueche cooked in a brick oven. Diners highlight the friendly service and authentic, cozy atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating. While generally very positive, some reviews mention that the food, though good, might not be extraordinarily memorable for all.
"We had one of the best cordon bleu ever. Quick and friendly service, waiting time for the food was not very long. Everything was good. Would highly recommend to come there.
Make sure to be there early or late after 9 pm or make a reservation. But honestly: the waiting time is worth it 😊"

"Food is good, but nothing memorable. The atmosphere is cute (at least outside). The Fried Ginger/Soy Chicken as starter is really nice and the Flammkuchen are really thin. The fact that it's cooked in a hotstone oven gives a nice flavour. However, stick to the classic flavour. The café gourmand as dessert was very good! Reservations recommended."
Ombeline Hischier
"The food was good, we ordered boeuf sauce Pinot Noir, Waedele, Cordon bleu and for the kids meatballs with potatoes.
We waited around 10-15 minutes to be seated, as many tables were reserved. Then had to wait another 10 minutes for the waiter to bring us menus, however the food arrived pretty quickly."

Easy Weekend Getaways from Paris: 48 Hours in Strasbourg
1:30pm – Head over to La Fignette to try my favorite Alsatian fare: flammekueche, a thin bread dough rolled into a rectangle and topped with crème fraîche, onions, and bacon bits. Of course, that’s the classic recipe – La Fignette also offers other options topped with Munster cheese (highly recommended), smoked salmon, or a cornucopia of vegetables. Pair it with a chilled glass of white Alsatian wine, varieties known for their crisp and fruity notes.
