La brasserie a remporté de nombreux prix pour son excellence culinaire, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour un repas ou une boisson inoubliable. Les intérieurs extraordinaires du Bibent figurent depuis 1975 au registre des monuments historiques de Toulouse.

À la recherche d’un endroit agréable pour manger, j’ai décidé de visiter Le Bibent pour voir s’il était à la hauteur des recommandations. Pour être honnête, j’ai été très impressionné par le décor et le style de l’endroit, avec des moulures dorées, de beaux lustres et de grands miroirs. J’ai passé une soirée différente et sans gluten avec un groupe d’amis qui habitent à Rennes.

Located on the famous Place du Capitole, in a 170 year old building full of history, Bibent is a place not to be missed. This restaurant welcomes you in a warm atmosphere and offers you an authentic and refined cuisine. In a magnificent setting, time slows down, you get a taste for sharing, for living well, for eating well and for drinking well as its name in Occitan suggests.

Normally such a square in Paris would be lined with tourist trap cafes, but Le Bibent is the furthest thing from a tourist trap serving quick meals. The gastronomic restaurant is loved by locals and known among the best restaurants in Toulouse. The building dates from 1861 and the Belle Époque decor with abundant mirrors, chandeliers and frescoes is luxurious in itself.

The finest I try during our visit is from utterly gorgeous Le Bibent. It’s set in the main Place du Capitole, minutes from where we’re staying in the wonderfully old-school luxury of Grand Hotel de l’Opéra, a 17th century former convent. The restaurant is a piece of Belle Epoque stucco history fully restored by its new owner, celebrity chef Christian Constant.

After your morning explorations, it's time for lunch at Le Bibent, located right on Place du Capitole.
