What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Les Planeurs for its innovative French-Japanese omakase experience, fresh ingredients, and excellent value, particularly for lunch. The attentive service and cozy atmosphere contribute to a special dining occasion. However, some guests note that the service pace can be very slow, requiring patience, and the restaurant's discreet entrance makes it a bit tricky to find.
"Excellent French food with a Japanese perspective, omakase style. Service is very attentive. Food is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced for what we received. Recommend wine pairing."
Christian Johnson
"Simply wonderful food, so tasty. As mentioned by others service can be slow but caring and kind, just a different pace to what we might be used to. Again as mentioned it's not easy to find, it really is just a regular on street entrance to an apartment building. The menu changes weekly but all the dishes that we had were sublime and for the quality you get it's really not expensive. The wine list is very good so expect to spend 30€ upwards for a bottle which pushed our bill up"
Andy Hayward
"It's so refreshing not to have to choose from a menu! Every time you'll be served exceptional food in surprise dishes. Since the food is prepared freshly, it does tend to take long to be served the next course. So make sure you come with good company and have a lot to talk about"

A Japanese chef and his partner have opened this unusual establishment in a deliberately bohemian and offbeat setting. The French cuisine is precise, original, balanced and flavoursome, illustrated by a risotto of poultry and shellfish, rich in seafaring aromas or roast apricots in rosemary served with homemade yoghurt ice cream. Good value for money.
