What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Klike's Khinkali is praised for its delicious and authentic khinkali, with popular fillings like mushroom and sulguni. The cozy, artsy, underground atmosphere is a significant draw for many. However, some reviews mention issues with a strong smell of mold and humidity, limited menu explanations, and a minimum order for khinkali, which can be inconvenient for those wanting to try multiple varieties.
"Nice khinkali spot with a simple menu that still has everything you need. The khinkali with suluguni were amazing, especially when paired with the garlic water sauce. Service was great too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving Georgian comfort food!"

"I'm so sorry to give this place a low rating, the place itself It's very cool since it's on a basement, but I do have to address the very strong smell of mold and humidity, it was so strong. It was so hard for me personally to breathe and be able to enjoy the food. I think this is what added to me not having a pleasant dining experience. Also the menu doesn't explain but if you are here for the Khinkali you can only get five of the same at first, which it's kind of hard to do when you want to try them all. Especially if you're here as a tourists or you have come to this place because you saw the TV show somebody feed Phil. The atmosphere fell very blunt un inviting or welcoming whatsoever. And when it comes to the taste of the food, to be honest it wasn't any special thing as the show makes it seem like, it didn't have any amazing taste. We have the same dishes at other places that honestly were more tasty and better mix and match options, but I do appreciate that they were willing to accommodate us without a reservation."

"This restaurant for us was a quest ))) you will need to be observant to enter the restaurant opening the right door but not to enter the left open entrance. Then you will need to find the toilet to wash your hands )) You should go here only to eat khinkali. They are delicious!"

The best khinkali in Tbilisi—5 unmissable Georgian restaurants you just have to try — LYDIA TRAVELS
This is one of the last restaurants I tried but is right up there with Asi Khinkali, I think these two restaurants serve the absolute best khinkali in town. Klike’s is also an underground-style restaurant—you can almost miss it as you walk past—but I discovered it one day when I was out exploring, and upon hearing people chatting and laughing below I became curious and returned a few days later. The menu is quite short and dumplings can take quite a long time to arrive, but these are by no means a bad thing because every order of khinkali is made fresh upon order and seriously, these are some exquisite dumplings.

Throw the hand-written menu scrolled in Georgian aside and ask the waiter what you should order, and how many of these pillowy delights you should go for. Halve the number they recommend – Georgians can eat an impressive amount of these things that most mere mortals can’t – and don’t blow it by not ordering a Lagidze Water, or cold draft beer, on the side.

Klike’s Khinkali is another well known restaurant specializing in serving khinkali. The thin dough and delicious fillings are super simple but utterly mouth-watering, and there’s good-quality beer and wine by the glass too.
