Arzu und Lale wollen ein bisschen türkische Essenskultur nach Berlin bringen: nicht in Form von Take-away-Dönern und Grillbuden, sondern mit feinsten türkischen Tapas, genannt Meze. Denn für die beiden Frauen ist das gemeinsame Vorbereiten und Kochen von orientalischen Gerichten schon seit ihrer Kindheit ein wunderschönes Ritual, das Familie und Freunde zusammen an einen Tisch bringt. Founded by Arzu Bulut and Lale Yanik, Osman’s Töchter brings the warmth and charm of Turkish hospitality to Berlin. Growing up in a family where cooking was a cherished ritual, they envisioned a restaurant that feels like home to everyone who walked through its doors. Since opening in 2012, Osman’s Töchter has fulfilled that dream, offering a blend of traditional and contemporary Turkish cuisine crafted with passion.

What with the apparently unquenchable hunger for this kind of street food, it’s mind-boggling that in (ad)venture-minded, constantly gentrifying Berlin, no one has managed to take or update these traditions and adapt them to a more contemporary experience – which is exactly what Arzu Bulut and Lale Yanik thought back in 2012 when they opened their restaurant, Osmans Töchter…in Prenzlauer Berg.

This team first opened a restaurant in the north of Berlin and finally brought their tasty Israelian and Mediterrean mezze to our neighbourhood in Charlottenburg. It is a perfect place for a family-style dinner where you can taste from all your friend’s mezze. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as it’s always pretty busy.

Founded by sisters Arzu and Lale, Osman’s Töchter literally translates to ‘Osman’s daughters’.
