"Came in here for a beverage after having a work dinner down the street at another restaurant. Loved the decor and ambiance of the establishment, but also the unique experience options of how one would like to enjoy the wine. Our server was really nice and welcoming, we asked for recommendations and she made suggestions we ultimately ordered a full glass of. I’m looking at the food menu I would have loved to have tried their food as well. Would definitely come back here if in the area again!"

Feels very unprofessional and more focused on profit then promise, the service of the personal also lacks of knowledge and attitude towards a professional wine bar. "As a true wine lover who's visited wine bars across the world, I really wanted to love BAR RIQUE — and I've given it three chances to win me over. The concept is intriguing: you can sample wines in three different pour sizes via self-service taps. Unfortunately, the execution doesn't quite live up to the idea, especially when you weigh in the pricing.

Each time I visited (the first based on a recommendation, the others simply out of convenience), I hoped to find a wine that would make the experience memorable — or at least justify the cost. Sadly, that moment never came. The wines I've tried lacked depth and complexity, and even after sampling several over multiple visits, I’ve yet to find one that truly stands out.

To be clear, I’m more than willing to pay for quality. But here, the prices feel disconnected from the actual experience. The wine selection feels curated more for concept than substance. The service is just fine — polite but not particularly warm or knowledgeable. On a brighter note, the cheese plate was good, and the view over the water is genuinely beautiful.

Overall, if you're seeking the simple, deep pleasure that comes from savoring truly good wine — not just a stylish atmosphere and a clever system — you may want to look elsewhere in Bremen."
