Reviews Summary
Edelweiss Alpenrestaurant offers a charming Alpine ambiance and generally delicious food with generous portions, particularly praised for its fondue and Flammkuchen. However, some diners have noted that certain dishes can be bland and the service, while sometimes friendly, can occasionally be perceived as unwelcoming or indifferent, impacting the overall value for money for a few patrons.
"A very nice restaurant in the center of Dresden. The interieur is like a moutain pasture. Partly also the waitress is awaiting you with n swiss dialect, which is completing the alps feeling. A wide variety of drinks and dishes are offered. The pricing is equal to the restaurants in the surrounding. Hot dishes, as like cold dishes are served and fitting to the alps genre."

"We were in Dresden for 4 days and had 2 meals at edelweiss!
The food was truly tasty and a generous size! We highly recommend the cheese fondue, milk braised liver and steak done medium rare. All the dishes were flavoured so well and we truly enjoyed the food and cocktails. We ordered the blackberry gin tonic both times, punchy and refreshing!
If we make it back to Dresden, will definitely visit again."

"first time to try this place (8 october 24).
it is located just infront of the church and old ruins. great selection of food for breakfast, lunch / dinner, snacks.
had the creamed cheese soup and orange and ginger ale for lunch. soup was served hot and it was indeed creamy and tasty.
the restaurant has great atmosphere both indoor and outdoor. toilet was also very clean (one of the best toilet in Europe as far as I could remember while on a 22 days tour in Europe).
the restaurant takes pride of its product / quality food and they are served aesthetically (they all look pretty).
I would highly recommend this place. like I said to the staff, if and only I live in Germany.. I’ll have my breakfast, lunch and dinner here."
