We have ordered 4 seafood dishes with one seafood soup plus a Riseling. All of them tasted fresh and wonderful plus dining in alfresco area. Definitely worth my 5 stars 🌟 rating!!"

"The only seafood restaurant on the street, so I chose it for dinner.
The place is quite large with plenty of tables, which made it surprising that the hostess tried to seat me uncomfortably close to other guests. The seafood selection is extensive, but the side dishes could be healthier and more varied.

I ordered the baked trout, which was served with French fries. I asked for no fries and received fried vegetables instead — mostly overcooked beets. The fish seemed to be fried in batter rather than baked. Under the thick layer of batter (which I didn’t eat), the fish lacked salt and seasoning. It was topped with a portion of tasty garlic butter, but I wasn’t quite sure how to eat it with the dish.

Unfortunately, I can’t say I enjoyed my meal. Each guest receives a basket of bread with a spread, so at least I didn’t leave hungry. The most common wine, Sauvignon Blanc, was also disappointing in taste.

I would recommend the restaurant to consider adding healthier meals and side options to the menu."

"We finally got to try Fischhaus during our visit to Düsseldorf—this spot has been famous in the city for quite some time, and now we understand why! 🐟✨

The seafood was fresh and flavorful, served in generous portions that left us fully satisfied. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just curious to explore a local classic, Fischhaus is a great choice for a solid, no-fuss meal.

The downsides were the service was a bit slow and the tables were too close, side by side.

It’s easy to see why it’s been a long-standing favorite. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Düsseldorf and craving good seafood! 🦐🍽️🍷"
