"Weindorf Koblenz is it really cool looking old German style restaurant! It is situated right on the banks of the Rhine River which has a great beautiful view"

razorrau1

"It was a nice place. Quite quiet. The server was polite and attentive. It may be a bit more expensive than other places but it's out of town and no more expensive than the hotel.
The food was nice, however I did order curried chickpeas and there was definitely no curry in the sauce."

Karen Houston

"Slow service and the prices are higher than in german big cities like frankfurt.

The quality was acceptable but for this price point I expect more in Koblenz- maybe a tourist trap?"

Weindorf Koblenz - Weindorf Koblenz

Weindorf: the wine village was created on the occasion of the imperial exhibition "German Wine", which took place in 1925. At that time, four buildings were erected, each inspired by the typical houses of winegrowers from different German regions. Unfortunately, the wine village was destroyed during the Second World War, but was later rebuilt in 1951.

There are many attractions such as the Pfaffendorf Bridge, the historic Weindorf (a 1925 replica of a Mosel village), and the Rhein-Mosel-Halle convention centre. Possibly the best highlight is the Empress Augusta Gardens with incredible views of the Rhine in a pleasant tree-lined setting boasting many sculptures and colourful flowers.
