"We went there twice and would gladly visit again. The staff is extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They have an amazing choice of Kumpir (Turkish stuffed baked potatoes) and warm drinks. The atmosphere is incredibly cosy and the design of this place is just unique. One of the gems of Nuremberg."

"A great place for a great meal at a good price! I love their stuffed baked potatoes with their huge selection of fillings, including many vegetarian and vegan options.
Service was very friendly and our food was prepared quickly.
The portions are very large, and our veggie and hummus filled potatoes were very delicious.
We will definitely return here again sometime soon!"

Mark Pitts

"Their stuffed potatoes are super delicious, the best I have eaten so far! The portions are big and you will not be disappointed ! A big plus point is, that their cakes are also very very tasty- I love the carrot cake you should try! The only thing is that after going there you will smell like a baked potato 🤣 but it is worth it!"

18 Best Restaurants in Nuremberg: a Local's Guide

A random find that turned into one of my favorite little joints in Nuremberg, Krummbeere specializes in 3 things: coffee, cakes, and kumpir. The latter is a huge baked potato that is mashed with butter and cheese, then topped with all kinds of ingredients. Potatoes are baked in a special oven at 300°C for about 90 minutes which helps to preserve the nutrients.
