What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the delicious, home-style German cuisine, particularly the schnitzel and pork knuckle, complemented by generous portions and friendly service. While the cozy, traditional ambiance is a hit, some note that the owner's direct demeanor, known as 'Berliner Schnauze,' is an integral part of the experience and might not suit everyone. Minor complaints occasionally mention dishes being slightly too salty.
"One of the best German meals I've had while visiting Germany. The restaurant is cozy and is elegantly decorated, run by a husband-wife duo which is impressive given the quality.
The host is extremely hospitable and accommodating, even to tourists like me. I ordered the bratwurst which was excellent, I wish I could try out more of the menu, alas I was in Potsdam only for a day trip. There is no separate menu in English but Google Lens does the job well and the host is patient with it."
