What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Carls Brauhaus is lauded for its hearty German cuisine, particularly the schnitzel and pork knuckle, and its wide selection of local beers. The atmosphere is often described as lively and welcoming, with friendly and attentive staff. However, some guests find the food to be average for the price, and the large, noisy environment can detract from a more intimate dining experience. A few reviewers also noted that while portions are generous, the overall quality may not always meet high expectations.
"A tasty stop: Veal schnitzel & beer!
Had the veal schnitzel and a beer at Carls Brauhaus — both were excellent. The schnitzel was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and generously portioned. The beer was fresh and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and central location make it a perfect spot for a relaxed evening in Stuttgart. Highly recommended!"

"The food was pretty good. The snitzel with the cranberry sauce was very interesting. The dessert was not what I ordered but it was good. The stuff is lovely and if you want to try some local food, I think its a great option."
