"We were staying in Germany for a very short time and wanted to fit in as much foodie wise as possible. I did some research to find Gasthaus Bären, which had a good selection of german style tapas. The cocktails were absolutely delicious. We started with a cheese plate followed by cheesy spatzle, cold potato salad, meat maultaschen, & turkey schnitzel. The portions were a good size. Everything was full of flavor & super fresh."

The gentleman who looked after us was kind enough to choose a great selection of dishes with the help of the rest of the staff, and everyone of those dishes tasted delicious. My child is coeliac and they provided a selection of gluten free dishes. The location is lovely and atmospheric, a really nice place to relax and eat some great food. Definitely recommend a visit"

Klar, ist zwar sehr anders als die spanische Variante, aber warum eigentlich nicht?. Kleine, handgerechte Snacks finden sich in jeder Landesküche und damit ist die Idee eigentlich gar nicht so abwegig. Und scheinbar wird die Idee so gut angenommen, dass das Konzept nun schon mehrere Jahre in Stuttgart eine feste Institution ist.

It’s quiet a new restaurant/bar here in Stuttgart that offers a great ambient with some delicious food and fabulous drinks!. For me, definitely one of the best bars in Stuttgart. The interior is kind of rustic, which makes it very homey and intimate and it’s like a modern interpretation of a German tavern.
