"Place itself look nice, but it’s tricky. I had there the worst Italian food ever. I believe that’s pretty offensive to call it Italian. Food had a strong German cuisine influence. Nothing was right, and the prices are pretty high. We have order two pieces of meat which should be different: one rare the other medium, instead they arrived at the same time to our table and both were pretty bloody. The worst it yet to come, I have received pasta which was a true nightmare, but just look at the pictures… coffee is bad, panna cotta I won’t even comment.
I don’t know how this place has 4.3 rating. People go to the real Italian gems in Trier!"

"Had a meal and drinks here whilst on holiday. Everything was good, food really nice, service prompt. Until we came to pay the bill. We were charged 63 euros for 2 meals and 2 drinks each. My wife thought this seemed steep. On checking we realised we had been overcharged so my wife went to see the manager. It turned out the waiter ( a young Asian lad) had given himself a 7 euro tip.
The manager did apologise on his behalf and refunded 5 euros.
Just a heads up to check your bill!

We tried the Italian restaurant, Donna Mia Trier, and were pleasantly surprised. The Hauptmarkt, the square between the Porta Nigra and the Cathedral, is surrounded by older buildings, has a carousel in good weather, and several places to get ice cream.
