"My wife discovered this place when researching Kefalonia and we said we’d try it at some point although hadn’t planned to this evening. We arrived around 8.30pm - on a Monday evening out of season, it was quiet but still a few tables busy outside.
So there is a menu but they quickly come out and tell you what is left and what isn’t. They will also invite you inside to see what is left - this is homemade cooking which is done during the day and then heated to order. When it’s done it’s done!!
We ordered what we thought was sensible but it turned out we ordered too much! No complaints though, it was great and we loved everything.
It’s super relaxed, charming, low-key, friendly … and hearty, tasty food. And the price, wow, talk about value for money.
We had the spicy cheese to start and then had stuffed peppers, giant beans and pasticcio as a main. They were all great.
No doubt we’d happily go there again when we’re back!"
